Our Projects
We have several projects in operations as well as on-going projects in Kenya. We currently have a large pipelines of solar minigrids projects to be installed in and outside Kenya. Our focus is to install more than 50 minigrids in the next 3 Years.
Below are some of our projects;
44 kWp Nadwat Minigrid
The generation station consists of 44 kWp of PV capacity, 40 kW of AC power during the day, 18 kW of AC power during the night, and 148 kWh of Lead acid battery storage. The solar plant is deployed as a containerized solution with SMA and Hoppecke technologies.
There are 150 customers connected to the network
22 kWp Kataboi Minigrid
The generation station consists of 22 kWp of PV capacity, 20 kW of AC power during the day, 18 kW of AC power during the night, and 74 kWh of Lead acid battery storage. The solar plant is deployed as a containerized solution with SMA and Hoppecke technologies.
There are 90 customers connected to the network
22 kWp Lolupe Minigrid
The generation station consists of a 22 kWp ground mount solar array with a 24 Hour 20kW AC output and an energy storage of 58 kWh (C10) of net available energy at AC 230/400 V three phase system. The energy sever and energy storage are of Kilowatt Labs technology.
There are 150 customers connected to the network
49.5 kWp Longech Minigrid
The Mini-grid consists of a 49.5 kWp ground mount solar array with a 24 Hour 40kW AC output and an energy storage of 116 kWh (C10) on net capacity at AC 230/400 V three phase system.
There are 200 customers connected to the network
39.6 kWp Dukana Minigrid
The Mini-grid consists of a 39.6 kWp ground mount solar array with a peak load of 30kW AC and an energy storage of 116 kWh (C10) of net available energy at AC 230/400 V three phase system.
There are 195 customers connected to the network
24.75 kWp Illeret Minigrid
The Mini-grid consists of a 24.75 kWp ground mount solar array with a peak load of 20kW AC and an energy storage of 85.2 kWh (C10) of net available energy at AC 230/400 V three phase system.
There are 166 customers connected to the network
We have a number of Minigrids projects currently underway in Turkana and Marsabit Counties in Kenya.We look forward to connecting many people to electricity in rural areas by installing 50 minigrids across the country in the coming three years.
